So for our family vacation at OBX, we booked again! Capt. Zac and his dog Vicky were a sure delight! "Took the kids out the other day and they were not disappointed! They have been wanting to go offshore fishing as they have been hearing stories from my friends and I for years. Zac had found some "reef donkeys" on a wreck a few days before our trip and suggested we go and let the kids crank on some of hardest fighting pound for pound fish in the ocean. We all thought it was good practice for them if they wanted an idea of what it is like to catch some of the larger pelagics on an offshore trip. The boys quickly understood what we had been telling them for years when the AJ's screamed drag off after eating our live baits we dropped down to them!!! The boys had to thank my daughter (6 years old) as she caught most of the live baits for us early that morning! Couldn't have done it without them! I also really appreciated that Zac took the time on the ride out and back in to stop and let my daughter see the dolphins( she wanted to feed all of our fish to the dolphins...lol). Overall it was a great trip that all the kids will not soon forget. We will definitely be back again( they all wanted to go the next day again!!!). I would recommend anyone booking a trip from experienced anglers to the first timers. You can't beat local knowledge and experience!!! Thanks again Zac!!!"
