North River Campgrounds

"I have had an extended stay here at North River. The staff here have been very friendly courteous and kind. The campground itself is kept exceptionally well. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone passing through. I failed to mention that their rates are reasonable. The owner himself has on several occasions knocked on the door just to check on me to make sure everything was OK. I found that to be going over and beyond making sure his guest are in good care. A special thank you not only to him but all of the staff members that have made my stay very special. Thank you! Hugh"

"The cabin was adorable and so cozy. Clean and fully supplied with everything u may need. It was small but comfortable except the bed. It was awful. Maybe invest in a new mattress and go with a queen. Would definitely stay again. Thx Pat and Beverly."

"Full hookup 50 amp service for our 35’ 5th wheel. Off the beaten path but suited our need to be close to Elizabeth City but not too close. Very quiet. Spotless grounds with level spacious sites. Very friendly and helpful staff. Permanent sites were clean and quiet as well. I could see it being less quiet in the summer but seems well payed out and managed to handle the crowds. Off season is serene!"
